Q.The  iSlice fits too tightly to remove it from the SD card slot with my fingernail.

A. To prevent Injury, please use a paper clip or a small flathead screwdriver to remove the iSlice. Please be careful not to scratch your MacBook.

 

Q. The iSlice sits slightly to one side in the SD card slot?

A. Some MacBooks have a slight misalignment in their shape of their SD card slot. Unfortunately, we are not able to help you on this.

 

Q. My iSlice doesn't fit my MacBook

A. You might have bought the wrong item for your MacBook. Please check device compatibility information. If your iSlice is the proper one for your MacBook, please contact our support E-mail address.

 

Q. My microSD card is recognized as read-only?

A. This sometimes happens with newly-purchased microSD cards. Please remove the iSlice from your MacBook and the microSD card from your iSlice, then put everything back together.

 

Q. My iSlice got lost inside the SD card slot.

A. You probably used an incompatible type of iSlice. For example, EAD-504A is not compatible with Early 2013 models of MacBook Pro (Retina) 15". We suggest trying to remove it with a paper clip or a very small flathead screwdriver. Please be careful not to scratch your MacBook.

Q. What types of microSD media are compatible with the iSlice?

A. The iSlice works with any microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC card. This is subject to the type of microSD media supported by your MacBook.

 

Q. What is the maximum storage capacity of microSD media for iSlice?

A. The iSlice doesn't impact the storage capacity of your microSD media. This is subject to the compability between your MacBook and the microSD media used.

 

Q. What is the transfer speed of iSlice?

A. The transfer speed is subject to the microSD media used.

Q. Are there any iSlice models available for non-Retina versions of the MacBook Pro?

A. Since we have not finished compatibility testing with older models of the MacBook Pro, we are not able to guarantee compatibility. However, the EAD-103A is compatible with many (non-Retina) MacBook Pro 13" and 15" models.

 

Q. Is the iSlice available for personal computers other than Apple?

A. The iSlice is specially tailored for your MacBook. It may work with other personal computer devices, but we do not recommend this.
